Marine engines are crazy. This engine was built by a company called Boostpower USA Marine, and it is quite a motor to say the least. It’s based on a 645ci Chevy big block V8, and has, among other things, two turbochargers feeding two superchargers, making as much as 40 psi. Depending on the fuel and tune, it makes between 985 and 2,400 horsepower. And it’s designed to do so reliably for long periods of time at sea . I wonder if it would fit in a Miata...

Oh my gosh that would be amazing, though I’m not sure where you’d fit the engine. Perhaps it would fit in the back, in which case who really needs cargo space anyway? And the engine only costs... $159,000. Maybe Fancy Kristen would fund the project if you asked nicely/groveled sufficiently...

When you blow that kind of money on upgrading the minivan, you won't have a wife or kids left to sorry about stuffing in the back.
